Mindy Abramson, CSP, RESA-PRO, is an award winning Redesigner and Stager who was honored with the Albuquerque Journal’s Readers’ Choice award in 2022. Her clients refer to her as a magician! She transforms spaces so dramatically that clients consistently remark they could never envision the changes or have achieved the results on their own. Albuquerque knows Mindy for her amazing customer service and white-glove treatment. She is the detail-oriented consultant that guides decisions, helping clients focus on securing equity while meeting their redesign goals. For over 30 years prior to becoming a Redesigner and Stager, Mindy was a licensed dietitian working with oncology and cardiology patients. She cares about helping others through a challenging time and making a difference. This is why, for the staging side of her business, she works exclusively in owner-occupied properties and not vacant homes. She is about people, not renting furnishings, and prefers to be by her client’s side aiming to reduce stress and guide them to financial success. She says, "You may change professions, but you cannot remove a healing heart or change a personality." Mindy helps create homes for better living and later, when ready to move, helps maximize profit in the sale. Clients love her work so much that they hire her to redesign their new home, making their move seamless. She also helps investors redesign their short-term rentals to attract ideal customers. Mindy moved to Albuquerque from Toledo, Ohio and transitioned Distinguishing Style here in the fall of 2014. She immediately got involved in the community, believing in the importance of giving back. The Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors® honored her as Affiliate of the Year for 2017 for her active involvement. As a staging industry expert, Mindy has written thirty articles for The Albuquerque Journal and created 84 videos for the public. Mindy is the only Certified Staging Professional (CSP) in New Mexico. She is also a member of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA), one of the world’s largest, well-established, and the only nonprofit trade association for Redesigners and Stagers. She is also the only RESA-PRO in New Mexico. RESA-PROs are held to higher professional standards and higher ethical standards. |
